Narrative:
TCASII alert went off in cockpit and we climbed to miss traffic at about 9000 ft. After traffic was sighted, we continued to 9000 ft. Phase of flight was approach to tpa international airport. Conflicting traffic sighted our airplane and made a call to tpa approach about us. He was in an small transport. He was at his assigned altitude and we were at ours.

Narrative: TCASII ALERT WENT OFF IN COCKPIT AND WE CLBED TO MISS TFC AT ABOUT 9000 FT. AFTER TFC WAS SIGHTED, WE CONTINUED TO 9000 FT. PHASE OF FLT WAS APCH TO TPA INTL ARPT. CONFLICTING TFC SIGHTED OUR AIRPLANE AND MADE A CALL TO TPA APCH ABOUT US. HE WAS IN AN SMT. HE WAS AT HIS ASSIGNED ALT AND WE WERE AT OURS.
