Narrative:
We were with dfw departure control, 118.15, level at 10000 ft, turning from 080 to 350. We got a TA approximately 11 O'clock less than 3 mi 400 ft below us. We then got an RA and started to climb based on the ivsi command. Departure control then cleared us to climb to 17000 ft. I told departure control about the RA and they mentioned VFR traffic at 9500 ft.

Narrative: WE WERE WITH DFW DEP CTL, 118.15, LEVEL AT 10000 FT, TURNING FROM 080 TO 350. WE GOT A TA APPROX 11 O'CLOCK LESS THAN 3 MI 400 FT BELOW US. WE THEN GOT AN RA AND STARTED TO CLB BASED ON THE IVSI COMMAND. DEP CTL THEN CLRED US TO CLB TO 17000 FT. I TOLD DEP CTL ABOUT THE RA AND THEY MENTIONED VFR TFC AT 9500 FT.
