Narrative:
Door warning light illuminated on takeoff roll. Aborted takeoff. Proceeded back to runup area. Secured door and departed. After loading freight, I started up and ramp loading personnel signalled that they had a few more boxes. They went to the back, opened the door and came to front and gave me thumbs up sign, clearing me to depart ramp area. From now on I will supervise loading of all freight on aircraft and verify all doors are secure.
