Narrative:
On radar vectors to runway 33L at bwi during base leg turn we had TCASII alert 'climb, climb.' we complied. Climbed 400 ft. RA went off screen. We then returned to our altitude of 4000 ft. As we were approaching 4000 ft, we both made visual on our conflict alert. As we both made the visual, we were somewhat concerned as to why approach control did not call out traffic. During this period, the first officer let the aircraft drift about 400 ft below our assigned altitude of 4000 ft. We immediately returned to 4000 ft and landed shortly thereafter.
