Narrative:
While on approach to cle, the landing gear was lowered. The right main mount gear didn't show down and locked. The gear was cycled several times. We still didn't receive a green light. We went through other procedures. We decided to divert to dtw. Cle had only 1 runway open. It was 6000 ft long and braking was poor. There was snow on the runway. We got in the dtw area. We lowered the gear again. After 20 seconds we then got a good indication that the right main was down and locked. We then made a normal approach and landing. We were flying in IFR conditions and picking up light rime ice. We were talking to approach, dispatch and maintenance control. We also had to fly the aircraft and do abnormal gear checklist, plus talk to the flight attendant to prepare for emergency landing and of course, talk to the passenger. The distance from cle to dtw was very short. So I think we made all the ATC instructions. We were changing who was flying the aircraft so 1 person turning off ATC on occasion to talk to company. These experiences are very hectic for a 2-MAN aircraft.

Title: UNABLE TO OBTAIN SAVE GEAR DOWN LIGHTS ON R MAIN GEAR, DIVERTED TO DTW.
Narrative: WHILE ON APCH TO CLE, THE LNDG GEAR WAS LOWERED. THE R MAIN MOUNT GEAR DIDN'T SHOW DOWN AND LOCKED. THE GEAR WAS CYCLED SEVERAL TIMES. WE STILL DIDN'T RECEIVE A GREEN LIGHT. WE WENT THROUGH OTHER PROCS. WE DECIDED TO DIVERT TO DTW. CLE HAD ONLY 1 RWY OPEN. IT WAS 6000 FT LONG AND BRAKING WAS POOR. THERE WAS SNOW ON THE RWY. WE GOT IN THE DTW AREA. WE LOWERED THE GEAR AGAIN. AFTER 20 SECONDS WE THEN GOT A GOOD INDICATION THAT THE R MAIN WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. WE THEN MADE A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG. WE WERE FLYING IN IFR CONDITIONS AND PICKING UP LIGHT RIME ICE. WE WERE TALKING TO APCH, DISPATCH AND MAINT CTL.
