Narrative:
I was the captain this date flight X msp-ord and flight xy ord- dtw-bos. Aircraft has had a history of flight guidance problems exceeding a month. On arrival at ord, maintenance control issued an order to disable both autoplts and remove and replace the flight data recorder. After consulting with dispatch we agreed to continue flight xy with both autoplts inoperative.

Narrative: I WAS THE CAPT THIS DATE FLT X MSP-ORD AND FLT XY ORD- DTW-BOS. ACFT HAS HAD A HISTORY OF FLT GUIDANCE PROBS EXCEEDING A MONTH. ON ARR AT ORD, MAINT CTL ISSUED AN ORDER TO DISABLE BOTH AUTOPLTS AND REMOVE AND REPLACE THE FLT DATA RECORDER. AFTER CONSULTING WITH DISPATCH WE AGREED TO CONTINUE FLT XY WITH BOTH AUTOPLTS INOP.
