Narrative:
We were just starting our descent to bullhead city/laughlin when we noticed an small aircraft pass from south to north at our last altitude. We had been using ZLA for VFR advisories. When I contacted the controller to inform them of the near miss, they stated that they showed no primary or secondary target on radar. The lesson I learned is that even though using VFR advisories, I must maintain a high level of vigilance for traffic (yes, I know, I have heard this before from many pubs). We do not believe the other pilot ever saw us.
