Narrative:
Takeoff abort. At approximately 60 KTS, prior to power stabilizing at takeoff thrust, a sudden, muffled bang was heard. Aircraft yawed, loss of power on right side noted. Takeoff aborted. Right #2 engine failed. No indications of high egt, temperature, fire or smoke. Right engine oil quantity and pressure dropped to '0' within 30 seconds. Taxied clear of runway 28R and shut down #2 engine. Advised tower of abort, requested no assistance, but advised them of potential FOD on runway. Called company maintenance for visual inspection and received visual check. Taxied back to gate.
