Narrative:
Descending into sna, approximately left base on radar vectors to ILS 19R. About 4300 ft received an RA to climb. At 4500 ft we received an RA to descend. The climb advisory was justified as we did see the traffic at about 3500 ft and could have caused a near miss. The climb advisory put us into conflict with 5000 ft traffic causing an RA to descend.
