Narrative:

At rotation on takeoff, first officer (PF) saw 2 deer run right to left under us. We felt a slight thump from main gear. We notified tower after airborne and contacted dispatch while climbing out. No abnormal indications were seen. Grb finally found a dead deer, but no aircraft parts. By this time we were over 1/2 way to dtw and we elected to continue on. We had dispatch notify dtw to have emergency equipment stand by as a precaution. Landing was normal. At the gate, we found some blood and hair on right main gear. Only question we were worried about was whether the FAA would fault us for not returning to grb. However, we had no abnormal indications and were not even sure we had hit a deer. Also, we felt detroit could better handle an abnormal landing situation with bigger runways and more equipment.
