Narrative:
On taxi-out of lga flight attendant began preparing meals in forward galley oven. She reported smoke to me coming from oven. She removed meals and first officer used a 1 second shot of halon to secure oven. Found 2 coach beverage napkins in oven upon inspection back at gate. I believe they were stuck to meal rack during catering at lga. I believe flight attendant should inspect oven before introducing any heat source in the future.
