Narrative:

On feb/thu/95, I inadvertently forgot to replace my in-flight manual into my suitcase after packing for work. The manual always stays in my suitcase, but on this occasion, I decided to clean out the suitcase and to add some new items (flashlight, clean clothes, aprons, etc, and forgot to replace my in-flight manual into my bag. I flew a flight to iah. While on the ground in iah an FAA inspector came on board requesting to see and check all crew members manuals. It was at that point that I realized that I had not packed mine. The FAA inspector advised me that I could not fly without a manual. So, I immediately called iah in-flight and was able to purchase a manual in order to be qualified to continue on with my trip.
