Narrative:

We were ramp checked by an FAA safety inspector who asked to see our medicals and certificates. I had left mine in my wallet, which I had left in my truck in the employee parking lot. I had conducted one flight from mco to fll west/O my credentials. There ought to be a way to prove you have a medical and appropriate certificate west/O having to have them 'in your possession.' I do not carry my credentials in my wallet anymore; they stay in a credit card holder which is now affixed to my flight bag permanently. This regulation should be erased, who cares if I forgot them once in 3 yrs, did it hurt anyone or anything?
