Narrative:
Given runway 11L on initial approach controller contact. Subsequently asked for runway 11R and given change. Captain thought he changed runway in FMGS/mdcu, but even though we rebriefed the approach neither one of us realized the change had not been made. Cleared to intercept runway 11R localizer, the aircraft went through it and intercepted the left while still in IMC. As we got sight of the airport, we realized what happened just as tower controller told us we were lined up on wrong runway. Contributing factors: concerned over ice/snow on runway with reduced braking of fair to poor. Did not properly double check runway selected. Subsequent landing on proper runway 11R gave us fair braking at touchdown, poor at 4000 ft, nil to 6000 ft.

Title: WRONG RWY APCH CAUSED BY IMPROPER ENTRY INTO FMC.
Narrative: GIVEN RWY 11L ON INITIAL APCH CTLR CONTACT. SUBSEQUENTLY ASKED FOR RWY 11R AND GIVEN CHANGE. CAPT THOUGHT HE CHANGED RWY IN FMGS/MDCU, BUT EVEN THOUGH WE REBRIEFED THE APCH NEITHER ONE OF US REALIZED THE CHANGE HAD NOT BEEN MADE. CLRED TO INTERCEPT RWY 11R LOC, THE ACFT WENT THROUGH IT AND INTERCEPTED THE L WHILE STILL IN IMC. AS WE GOT SIGHT OF THE ARPT, WE REALIZED WHAT HAPPENED JUST AS TWR CTLR TOLD US WE WERE LINED UP ON WRONG RWY. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: CONCERNED OVER ICE/SNOW ON RWY WITH REDUCED BRAKING OF FAIR TO POOR. DID NOT PROPERLY DOUBLE CHK RWY SELECTED. SUBSEQUENT LNDG ON PROPER RWY 11R GAVE US FAIR BRAKING AT TOUCHDOWN, POOR AT 4000 FT, NIL TO 6000 FT.
