Narrative:
I was on a flight from brown field in san diego (sdm) after returning from a 4 day trip in mexico. I departed brown field and flew through the VFR corridor above san diego and proceeded north along the coast. After departing the san diego class B airspace I climbed to 4500 ft until approaching the orange county class C airspace. At this time I climbed to 5200 ft to go over the 4400 ft top of the class C airspace. I flew from the northwest corner of the camp pendleton restricted airspace direct to el monte (emt) airport a route which goes directly over el toro airport (I have flown this exact route 4 times in the past 2 months). Today I was directly over el toro airport and saw that there was a large number of cars and people all over the airport. No aircraft were in the air that I could see. The el toro airshow was today. I flew on to el monte airport and was asked by the el monte tower staff to identify, which I did. After landing at el monte I was requested to contact el toro tower. I advised them that I was completely unaware of the temporary restricted area around el toro airport. I checked WX on apr/xx/95 and was given no notification that a NOTAM was out for apr/xx/95. I filed a border crossing flight plan on apr/xx/95 with san diego FSS and was given no notification. I also filed a round robin flight plan with san diego FSS for a return on apr/xx/95 and was given no notification. I opened the border crossing flight plan on apr/xx/95 and was given no notification of the NOTAM. I landed at brown field and listened to their ATIS, no notification. I was using pom VOR at the time of the incident and received no notification -- I never received any notification until calling el toro after landing at el monte airport. Also all airports in the area at the time were VFR.

Title: ACFT ENTERED TEMPORARY RESTR AREA, MCAS EL TORO, DURING AIR SHOW. NO TFC CONFLICT.
Narrative: I WAS ON A FLT FROM BROWN FIELD IN SAN DIEGO (SDM) AFTER RETURNING FROM A 4 DAY TRIP IN MEXICO. I DEPARTED BROWN FIELD AND FLEW THROUGH THE VFR CORRIDOR ABOVE SAN DIEGO AND PROCEEDED N ALONG THE COAST. AFTER DEPARTING THE SAN DIEGO CLASS B AIRSPACE I CLBED TO 4500 FT UNTIL APCHING THE ORANGE COUNTY CLASS C AIRSPACE. AT THIS TIME I CLBED TO 5200 FT TO GO OVER THE 4400 FT TOP OF THE CLASS C AIRSPACE. I FLEW FROM THE NW CORNER OF THE CAMP PENDLETON RESTRICTED AIRSPACE DIRECT TO EL MONTE (EMT) ARPT A RTE WHICH GOES DIRECTLY OVER EL TORO ARPT (I HAVE FLOWN THIS EXACT RTE 4 TIMES IN THE PAST 2 MONTHS). TODAY I WAS DIRECTLY OVER EL TORO ARPT AND SAW THAT THERE WAS A LARGE NUMBER OF CARS AND PEOPLE ALL OVER THE ARPT. NO ACFT WERE IN THE AIR THAT I COULD SEE. THE EL TORO AIRSHOW WAS TODAY. I FLEW ON TO EL MONTE ARPT AND WAS ASKED BY THE EL MONTE TWR STAFF TO IDENT, WHICH I DID. AFTER LNDG AT EL MONTE I WAS REQUESTED TO CONTACT EL TORO TWR. I ADVISED THEM THAT I WAS COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF THE TEMPORARY RESTRICTED AREA AROUND EL TORO ARPT. I CHKED WX ON APR/XX/95 AND WAS GIVEN NO NOTIFICATION THAT A NOTAM WAS OUT FOR APR/XX/95. I FILED A BORDER XING FLT PLAN ON APR/XX/95 WITH SAN DIEGO FSS AND WAS GIVEN NO NOTIFICATION. I ALSO FILED A ROUND ROBIN FLT PLAN WITH SAN DIEGO FSS FOR A RETURN ON APR/XX/95 AND WAS GIVEN NO NOTIFICATION. I OPENED THE BORDER XING FLT PLAN ON APR/XX/95 AND WAS GIVEN NO NOTIFICATION OF THE NOTAM. I LANDED AT BROWN FIELD AND LISTENED TO THEIR ATIS, NO NOTIFICATION. I WAS USING POM VOR AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT AND RECEIVED NO NOTIFICATION -- I NEVER RECEIVED ANY NOTIFICATION UNTIL CALLING EL TORO AFTER LNDG AT EL MONTE ARPT. ALSO ALL ARPTS IN THE AREA AT THE TIME WERE VFR.
