Narrative:
Air carrier X after landing lax on runway 25L we were told to hold short of runway 25R which we did at taxiway 45. Off to our left on taxiway 47 and also holding short of runway 25L was a air carrier Y and an air carrier Z. Air carrier Y was cleared to cross and we were cleared to cross and to contact ground. Obtained clearance to taxi to the gate and while taxiing in were told to call the tower. After arrival I spoke with supervisor in the tower who said they thought we had crossed runway 25R without a clearance. I repeated to him the clearance we both believed we had heard. I also told him that we had commented between us while crossing runway 25R that it was unusual to be switched to ground while still on the runway. We had been holding short for several mins and had completed the after landing checklists and had contacted lax operations and were both monitoring the tower. No conflict was present as Y and Z were crossing runway 25R at the same time off to our left and there was no conflict with local ground traffic as we cleared runway 25R. If an error was inadvertently made by our part, which we both feel strongly it was not, the only contributing factors that I think could have contributed were a saturated ATC and a long WX related day for the flight crew.

Title: ACR X NON ADHERENCE TO ATC CLRNC RWY INCURSION.
Narrative: ACR X AFTER LNDG LAX ON RWY 25L WE WERE TOLD TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 25R WHICH WE DID AT TXWY 45. OFF TO OUR L ON TXWY 47 AND ALSO HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 25L WAS A ACR Y AND AN ACR Z. ACR Y WAS CLRED TO CROSS AND WE WERE CLRED TO CROSS AND TO CONTACT GND. OBTAINED CLRNC TO TAXI TO THE GATE AND WHILE TAXIING IN WERE TOLD TO CALL THE TWR. AFTER ARR I SPOKE WITH SUPVR IN THE TWR WHO SAID THEY THOUGHT WE HAD CROSSED RWY 25R WITHOUT A CLRNC. I REPEATED TO HIM THE CLRNC WE BOTH BELIEVED WE HAD HEARD. I ALSO TOLD HIM THAT WE HAD COMMENTED BTWN US WHILE XING RWY 25R THAT IT WAS UNUSUAL TO BE SWITCHED TO GND WHILE STILL ON THE RWY. WE HAD BEEN HOLDING SHORT FOR SEVERAL MINS AND HAD COMPLETED THE AFTER LNDG CHKLISTS AND HAD CONTACTED LAX OPS AND WERE BOTH MONITORING THE TWR. NO CONFLICT WAS PRESENT AS Y AND Z WERE XING RWY 25R AT THE SAME TIME OFF TO OUR L AND THERE WAS NO CONFLICT WITH LCL GND TFC AS WE CLRED RWY 25R. IF AN ERROR WAS INADVERTENTLY MADE BY OUR PART, WHICH WE BOTH FEEL STRONGLY IT WAS NOT, THE ONLY CONTRIBUTING FACTORS THAT I THINK COULD HAVE CONTRIBUTED WERE A SATURATED ATC AND A LONG WX RELATED DAY FOR THE FLC.
