Narrative:
En route from san diego to sacramento, we were cruising at 37000 ft and were given a crossing restr to cross turlo intersection on the wraps 5 arrival at FL240. I started a 1000 FPM descent and then increased it to 2000 FPM. About this time, we began having a slight pressurization problem (getting the cabin to start descending). I was flying the aircraft and both my first officer and myself directed our attention to this problem. It didn't take long before we had the problem resolved and when I returned my total attention to flying, I realized we were high, 28500 ft versus 24000 ft over turlo intersection. I called the watch supervisor at ZOA on arrival in sacramento and explained what happened and apologized. He assured me there was no traffic conflict and that it would not be reported. In my 28 yrs and 17000 hours of flying, this was my first and I hope my last crossing restr miss or altitude bust!
