Narrative:
First officer was hand flying the aircraft, level at 6000 ft, heading 290 degrees on a radar vector. The controller stated, 'I thought I gave it to you, climb and maintain 10000 ft.' I advanced the throttles and began a smooth climb when TCASII gave a TA followed by an RA climb. The captain located the traffic on his side at 9 O'clock and simultaneously waved his hand upward as he said, 'get up fast.' I firewalled the throttles and pulled up hard to climb rapidly. This maneuver was not missed by our customers. The controller's response to our advisement of the RA conflict was 'roger.' the other aircraft was a commuter. Supplemental information from acn 315074: I looked left and saw a regional carrier beech 1900 climbing northbound just below us. Beech 1900 had us in sight as I had him in sight.

Title: TCASII RA WAS RECEIVED FOLLOWING DEP CTLR'S CLB CLRNC. FLC ESTABLISHED VISUAL CONTACT AND RESPONDED.
Narrative: FO WAS HAND FLYING THE ACFT, LEVEL AT 6000 FT, HDG 290 DEGS ON A RADAR VECTOR. THE CTLR STATED, 'I THOUGHT I GAVE IT TO YOU, CLB AND MAINTAIN 10000 FT.' I ADVANCED THE THROTTLES AND BEGAN A SMOOTH CLB WHEN TCASII GAVE A TA FOLLOWED BY AN RA CLB. THE CAPT LOCATED THE TFC ON HIS SIDE AT 9 O'CLOCK AND SIMULTANEOUSLY WAVED HIS HAND UPWARD AS HE SAID, 'GET UP FAST.' I FIREWALLED THE THROTTLES AND PULLED UP HARD TO CLB RAPIDLY. THIS MANEUVER WAS NOT MISSED BY OUR CUSTOMERS. THE CTLR'S RESPONSE TO OUR ADVISEMENT OF THE RA CONFLICT WAS 'ROGER.' THE OTHER ACFT WAS A COMMUTER. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 315074: I LOOKED L AND SAW A REGIONAL CARRIER BEECH 1900 CLBING NBOUND JUST BELOW US. BEECH 1900 HAD US IN SIGHT AS I HAD HIM IN SIGHT.
