Narrative:
At bhm started engines with all cockpit indications confirmed, normal cockpit indications after start. Completed all required checklist items and took off on flight from birmingham, al, to charlotte, nc. At 29000 ft, approximately 40 mins into the flight, the left start valve open light came on with pneumatic xfeed closed. No information was contained in handbook about this in-flight condition. Requested a 3-WAY conversation with maintenance control in pgh through atlanta operation to see if they could shed any light on the situation. All engine indications at all times were normal. No valuable information was obtained and during our conversation the start valve light went out and remained out for the duration of the flight. Normal landing was performed at clt with no other complications. Put a logbook write-up explaining the situation for corrective action on aircraft.
