Narrative:
Catastrophic engine failure at 13500 ft in level flight. Engine developed severe vibration for approximately 15 seconds then froze or seized up solid. I declared an emergency and glided 17 NM to green river, ut, airport. No damage to aircraft, no injuries. Engine is currently being checked out.

Title: AN MO21 PLT DECLARED AN EMER AND GLIDED TO A SAFE LNDG AFTER THE ENG FAILED. THE RPTR EXPERIENCED SEVERE VIBRATION BEFORE THE ENG COMPLETELY SEIZED.
Narrative: CATASTROPHIC ENG FAILURE AT 13500 FT IN LEVEL FLT. ENG DEVELOPED SEVERE VIBRATION FOR APPROX 15 SECONDS THEN FROZE OR SEIZED UP SOLID. I DECLARED AN EMER AND GLIDED 17 NM TO GREEN RIVER, UT, ARPT. NO DAMAGE TO ACFT, NO INJURIES. ENG IS CURRENTLY BEING CHKED OUT.
