Narrative:
My attention was focused on traffic for the active, runway 4, at this uncontrolled airport. There was quite a bit of both traffic and talk on 122.8 and covering many airports. I did hear '34' mentioned but didn't connect it with this airport. After landing and pulling off onto the taxiway, cleaning up the airplane, and taxiing toward the terminal I saw the runway '34/16' sign. Realizing it was the cross runway I performed a quick left and right turn for traffic. Seeing none, I started across. Immediately I heard the warning, 'cessna on the runway,' the engine's noise, and saw the shadow of the plane crossing right in front of me. I don't see how I could not have seen him when I looked left before entering runway 34/16. I looked at and above the threshold of runway 34, saw nothing. The only place that he had to be was blocked by my left wing and maybe he was to his right of the centerline. He did a go around and I took the blame. I apologized to the pilot as I taxied on. The experience was scary, very close to disaster. Awhile later I met the pilot, and his student, of the other plane and thanked him and apologized again.

Title: C182 PLT LANDS AT NON TWR ARPT AND DURING TAXI HAS NEAR COLLISION WITH ACFT LNDG ON INTERSECTING RWY.
Narrative: MY ATTN WAS FOCUSED ON TFC FOR THE ACTIVE, RWY 4, AT THIS UNCTLED ARPT. THERE WAS QUITE A BIT OF BOTH TFC AND TALK ON 122.8 AND COVERING MANY ARPTS. I DID HEAR '34' MENTIONED BUT DIDN'T CONNECT IT WITH THIS ARPT. AFTER LNDG AND PULLING OFF ONTO THE TXWY, CLEANING UP THE AIRPLANE, AND TAXIING TOWARD THE TERMINAL I SAW THE RWY '34/16' SIGN. REALIZING IT WAS THE CROSS RWY I PERFORMED A QUICK L AND R TURN FOR TFC. SEEING NONE, I STARTED ACROSS. IMMEDIATELY I HEARD THE WARNING, 'CESSNA ON THE RWY,' THE ENG'S NOISE, AND SAW THE SHADOW OF THE PLANE XING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I DON'T SEE HOW I COULD NOT HAVE SEEN HIM WHEN I LOOKED L BEFORE ENTERING RWY 34/16. I LOOKED AT AND ABOVE THE THRESHOLD OF RWY 34, SAW NOTHING. THE ONLY PLACE THAT HE HAD TO BE WAS BLOCKED BY MY L WING AND MAYBE HE WAS TO HIS R OF THE CTRLINE. HE DID A GAR AND I TOOK THE BLAME. I APOLOGIZED TO THE PLT AS I TAXIED ON. THE EXPERIENCE WAS SCARY, VERY CLOSE TO DISASTER. AWHILE LATER I MET THE PLT, AND HIS STUDENT, OF THE OTHER PLANE AND THANKED HIM AND APOLOGIZED AGAIN.
