Narrative:
During approach to eastland, tx, aircraft was blown terribly close to a tower (which is right on final approach). Pilot did not see (left seat) tower until advised by the right seat. Power was added and evasive maneuver was accomplished. Had we not come in from the west (but the southeast), we could have descended into tower without seeing it. Tower should be moved!

Title: C172 ACFT IN PATTERN AT UNCTLED ARPT DRIFTED TOWARD TWR. OBSERVER IN R SEAT ALERTED PLT TO PROX OF TWR AND HE TOOK EVASIVE ACTION.
Narrative: DURING APCH TO EASTLAND, TX, ACFT WAS BLOWN TERRIBLY CLOSE TO A TWR (WHICH IS RIGHT ON FINAL APCH). PLT DID NOT SEE (L SEAT) TWR UNTIL ADVISED BY THE R SEAT. PWR WAS ADDED AND EVASIVE MANEUVER WAS ACCOMPLISHED. HAD WE NOT COME IN FROM THE W (BUT THE SE), WE COULD HAVE DSNDED INTO TWR WITHOUT SEEING IT. TWR SHOULD BE MOVED!
