Narrative:

Cleared to cross fix at 11000 ft. Received several airspeed changes. PF (copilot) reset FMS. I told him he was high -- he started something in the FMS. I told him to get it down -- still in FMS. I told him vmo and speed brakes, which he did slowly on autoplt. We crossed high and fast, then fast at next fix. From now on, I give 1 warning and then take control. Contributing factors: short night, bad motel and little sleep. Several clearance changes. Flying the FMS instead of aircraft.
