Narrative:
Upon entering the terminal area at ewr I elected not to utilize the autoplt and hand fly the airplane. Approach control cleared us for the ILS runway 4R and instructed us to contact the tower. Landing was uneventful, and we cleared the runway. It was at this time I heard another aircraft being cleared for the approach and then realized we had never switched frequencys to the tower. As we held short of runway 4L, I contacted the tower. We proceeded without incident.
