Narrative:
After clearing runway 27R at phl we were told to turn right on taxiway K and hold short taxiway K4. I acknowledged. The captain was new and hadn't been to phl much. I was doing after landing checks and getting ready to call operations when the captain asked if we were at taxiway K4. I said I didn't think so, but was trying to check the airport diagram. It was already too late -- ground called and said we were in the intersection of taxiway K4. He then cleared us to continue on taxiway K for taxiway K3 to the gate. We both agreed we thought the taxi sign light was burned out because the sign was all dark. We don't know if it was for sure or not though. The ground controller said it was no big deal. There was no conflict with another aircraft.
