Narrative:

Climbing out after departure yvr airport we were cleared to maintain 17000 ft. Accidentally exceeded 280 KIAS airspeed restr below 7000 ft MSL published on YVR9 departure. When asked indicated airspeed by departure controller, we replied 290 KIAS and immediately reduced to 280 KIAS.
