Narrative:
Returned to dfw due to #1 generator failure. The captain felt it was too premature in the flight to continue on with just 1 working generator. He did not declare this an emergency situation, just more awareness on the part of the cabin crew, since we would be landing heavy. We encountered no problems.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT, B767-300, DFW-SCL, GENERATOR FAILURE, RETURN TO DFW.
Narrative: RETURNED TO DFW DUE TO #1 GENERATOR FAILURE. THE CAPT FELT IT WAS TOO PREMATURE IN THE FLT TO CONTINUE ON WITH JUST 1 WORKING GENERATOR. HE DID NOT DECLARE THIS AN EMER SIT, JUST MORE AWARENESS ON THE PART OF THE CABIN CREW, SINCE WE WOULD BE LNDG HVY. WE ENCOUNTERED NO PROBS.
