Narrative:
ATC called out traffic at 12 O'clock, 5 mi, which progressed from a TA to an RA. We had a visual on a small aircraft believed to be the cause of the RA. The TCASII called for a climb for traffic. We climbed out of our assigned altitude to comply with the RA warning, advised bos, then returned to 6000 ft when the conflict was satisfied.
