Narrative:
A passenger seated in yy in exit row refused to place dog in a carrier during the flight and landing. The passenger was verbally abusive to crew. She also jeopardized passenger and crew safety because of dog at exit row not properly contained. Flight attendant #1 took dog and placed in passenger lap 2 rows back just before touchdown. Flight was met by sheriff's department at smf. FAA was notified. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the woman with the dog acted like a spoiled brat, and really upset the cabin crew. The local sheriff detained the passenger for questioning at the sacramento airport, but decided it was under federal jurisdiction, so they kept her there till the fbi arrived. The reporter did not know of any further actions taken against the lady.
