Narrative:
During turn at the gate in ZZZ, I was notified by the ground crew that a static wick was broken off the airplane left wingtip by a piece of ground equipment passing nearby. I examined the static wick. It had broken clean with its base still attached to the wing. No damage noted to wing or other adjacent static wicks. No maintenance paperwork accomplished.
