Narrative:
Center instructed us to cross 40 mi southwest of vhp at 10000 ft. First officer read back 10000 ft along with the DME restr. After reaching 10000 ft, controller queried our altitude. First officer said 10000 ft. Controller said we should be at 11000 ft then sent us to another frequency with no other comment.
