Narrative:
At msp our flight was (all 3 crew members thought) cleared into position on runway, and be ready. We were then told to clear runway after about 1 min, due to landing traffic and traffic not clearing the runway. We were then cleared for takeoff. At ZZZ we were told we never received clearance for the first position and hold.

Narrative: AT MSP OUR FLT WAS (ALL 3 CREW MEMBERS THOUGHT) CLRED INTO POS ON RWY, AND BE READY. WE WERE THEN TOLD TO CLR RWY AFTER ABOUT 1 MIN, DUE TO LNDG TFC AND TFC NOT CLRING THE RWY. WE WERE THEN CLRED FOR TKOF. AT ZZZ WE WERE TOLD WE NEVER RECEIVED CLRNC FOR THE FIRST POS AND HOLD.
