Narrative:
I was flying an VFR training mission to ZZZ1, for pattern work. I (flight instructor) contacted ZZZ3 approach for an advisory whether or not R2935 was hot or cold. The controller mentioned it was active. The radio call I made was just 2 mile east of the field. He mentioned nothing about the temporary no-fly zone. I then looked at my sectional map to verify R2935 extended from 11000 ft to unlimited, so it wasn't a factor. I assumed the launch was scratched due to high winds. So, I thought it would be good training to proceed onto ZZZ for cross-wind landing work. I was established on a long right base for runway 11, about 2 mile out. Just before I called the ZZZ CTAF for an airport advisory. At that very moment I was intercepted by two F15's. He waggled his wings intending for me to follow in which I did. I immediately contacted military ZZZ2 tower. They didn't know they advised me to contact 121.5. That's when they told me to land immediately. I told law enforcement the situation. He said I had nothing to worry about. I was released to fly home. I am a very experienced IFR pilot that has no FAA violations. I am familiar with cape canaveral and it's restr airspace. I not only contacted FSS ZZZ4, but I also contacted ZZZ3 approach, not one thing was mentioned about a no-fly zone. This is simply lack of communication, nothing else.
