Narrative:
A charter flight landed at ZNY, landed north, 180 degree taxi back unfamiliar field, directed to take next left (would have been onto a taxiway B2) but no airport signage at the airport. Was looking for the taxiway and missed it, turned onto runway 11, then left onto taxiway instead of onto taxiway only. Tower told us we had turned onto runway, and then directed turn onto taxiway and to follow the follow me truck. No further discussion with tower or ground.
