Narrative:
Aircraft #1 departed osv bound for iad, requesting FL290. Aircraft #2 was wbound at FL200. I observed traffic, accepted the handoff on aircraft #1, and entered an interim altitude of FL190. Upon initial call-on, I climbed aircraft #1 to FL230, which he read back. Separation was lost when he climbed above FL190 abeam the overflt at FL200.

Title: ZID ARTCC CTLR LOST SEPARATION WITH CLBING AND ENRTE ACFT.
Narrative: ACFT #1 DEPARTED OSV BOUND FOR IAD, REQUESTING FL290. ACFT #2 WAS WBOUND AT FL200. I OBSERVED TFC, ACCEPTED THE HDOF ON ACFT #1, AND ENTERED AN INTERIM ALT OF FL190. UPON INITIAL CALL-ON, I CLBED ACFT #1 TO FL230, WHICH HE READ BACK. SEPARATION WAS LOST WHEN HE CLBED ABOVE FL190 ABEAM THE OVERFLT AT FL200.
