Narrative:

Checked manual for ability to climb to FL390. Book said we could make it. Requested FL390, given clearance to climb to FL390 within 3-4 mins. Climbed to altitude at 1200 FPM. At altitude, had slowed below .74 mach and could not get airspeed stabilized. Kept decreasing. When green line approached indicated airspeed, requested descent back to FL350. Told to wait 4 mins and turn left. About 45-60 degrees in turn, airspeed kept dropping and told center we did not want to wait for 4 mins, needed lower now. Got clearance and flew clearance.

ABOUT 45-60 DEGS IN TURN, AIRSPD KEPT DROPPING AND TOLD CTR WE DID NOT WANT TO WAIT FOR 4 MINS, NEEDED LOWER NOW. GOT CLRNC AND FLEW CLRNC.
