Air Traffic Incident | Operational Error |
Narrative:
I had just assumed the departure position (krant/daily) combined in a south operation. The previous controller had accepted a handoff from shd sector as per prior to giving up the position on cpr jet. When the cpr jet checked in on frequency; I glanced at the aircraft and climbed him to his requested altitude of 15000 ft. Crossing traffic was not observed. I returned to doing other duties (setting up performance sets; etc) when the cpr jet pilot questioned me about traffic off his left. I looked and realized that; although traffic would not hit; I had climbed one into another. I then reported the incident to a supervisor.
