Narrative:
While taxiing west on taxiway B prior to taxiway ha; ground control told us to taxi ha to hs to wr. I continued on taxiway B following what I thought was the proper place to turn onto taxiway hs based on the signage. I was incorrect in that I taxied all the way to taxiway G before turning and missed taxiway ha. There was an rj coming down from the north which I stopped for. The situation posed no threat; however; I missed the proper turn point. I believe the signage was not clear and it would be very helpful if the dfw 60-9 page was updated to reflect more accurately the actual layout of this intersection. An expanded view of this intersection in the form of an insert on the airport page would be helpful.
