Narrative:

I performed the final signoff on log page for sheet metal repair at sta 312s22r; which included edge seal and paint. All other portions of log page were per crew write-up. At the time of signing off log page I was unaware of a discrepancy of the air carrier effectivity in the structural repair manual that was used for reference.

Title: A B737-500 HAD A FUSELAGE SKIN REPAIR THAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE INCORRECT STRUCTURAL REPAIR MANUAL REF.
