Narrative:
We had to declare a min-fuel state enroute to lax. The dispatcher and I raised fuel 800# at ZZZ; but winds were stronger than forecast. We parked at gate west/4000# which was adequate. There were two solid fueling stops if lax couldn't help us with situation. We knew when we left ZZZ that it was going to be close. Told dispatch to advise lax we could not accept delay. Dispatch cut fuel too close.
