Narrative:
On approach to landing, main gear failed to extend. Gear would retract with a gear up light. After emergency procedure and trying to push gear down through the open cabin door the decision was made to land gear up. All the technical advice and help did not solve the problem. Minor damage to lower skin and propeller tips. The actuator rod end on the hydraulic cylinder had failed.
