Narrative:

After normal pushback crew was informed through the headset just prior to wave off that there was a dent in the nose wheel housing area. I inquired about the housing being intact and aligned properly and was told it was. I was not made aware that ground had caused the damage with their tug and tow bar. The pushback was smooth. Since this was the second flight of the day in this aircraft and having no problems, I again asked ground about structural integrity. After receiving assurances we were waved off. Upon landing in denver the taxi light housing failed. Supplemental information from acn 225510. Upon landing in denver the housing for the taxi light failed allowing the taxi light to drag behind the nose gear! No damage to aircraft or personnel.
