Narrative:
Air carrier X receiving radar vectors from approach control, we were told to follow company saab traffic whom we had in sight. The before landing checklist was completed, and special attention was made to keep traffic in sight as it was hazy. We observed traffic ahead land and taxi clear of the runway. The runway was clear and we landed. As we taxied off the runway, we observed that we were still on approach frequency. We had never been handed off to tower. We then contacted ground and were cleared to the ramp. Although not told to call tower, we contacted them and apologized. The supervisor told us that there were no problems. Supplemental information from acn 302541: receiving radar vectors from approach control, we were told to follow company saab in front of us which we had in sight. The crew finished the landing checklist, keeping special attention to the traffic since it was a little hazy. We watched the other aircraft landing and taxied clear of the runway. We saw that the runway was clear and landed. I was not told to call the tower, however, upon finding the nearest phone, called the tower and apologized. The tower supervisor said it was no problem.

Narrative: ACR X RECEIVING RADAR VECTORS FROM APCH CTL, WE WERE TOLD TO FOLLOW COMPANY SAAB TFC WHOM WE HAD IN SIGHT. THE BEFORE LNDG CHKLIST WAS COMPLETED, AND SPECIAL ATTN WAS MADE TO KEEP TFC IN SIGHT AS IT WAS HAZY. WE OBSERVED TFC AHEAD LAND AND TAXI CLR OF THE RWY. THE RWY WAS CLR AND WE LANDED. AS WE TAXIED OFF THE RWY, WE OBSERVED THAT WE WERE STILL ON APCH FREQ. WE HAD NEVER BEEN HANDED OFF TO TWR. WE THEN CONTACTED GND AND WERE CLRED TO THE RAMP. ALTHOUGH NOT TOLD TO CALL TWR, WE CONTACTED THEM AND APOLOGIZED. THE SUPVR TOLD US THAT THERE WERE NO PROBS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 302541: RECEIVING RADAR VECTORS FROM APCH CTL, WE WERE TOLD TO FOLLOW COMPANY SAAB IN FRONT OF US WHICH WE HAD IN SIGHT. THE CREW FINISHED THE LNDG CHKLIST, KEEPING SPECIAL ATTN TO THE TFC SINCE IT WAS A LITTLE HAZY. WE WATCHED THE OTHER ACFT LNDG AND TAXIED CLR OF THE RWY. WE SAW THAT THE RWY WAS CLR AND LANDED. I WAS NOT TOLD TO CALL THE TWR, HOWEVER, UPON FINDING THE NEAREST PHONE, CALLED THE TWR AND APOLOGIZED. THE TWR SUPVR SAID IT WAS NO PROB.
