Narrative:
Before landing at bullhead city airport, I called unicom for landing information. I received a reply, 'active runway 36.' as I approached the airport, I announced my base leg and final on that frequency. As I landed, I saw a large jet at the opposite end of the runway turned perpendicular to the runway direction. I continued to land. As I taxied to transient parking, I was notified by the airport personnel that I landed the wrong way and did not contact the tower. I told them that I had spoken to someone on unicom. They said that there was another airport 10 mi away with the same runway numbers 36 and that was their unicom frequency. After checking my map, I found that it was an old frequency that was no longer used. I am in error for not looking at the current map.
