Narrative:
Requested and received descent from FL270 to FL250. Shortly after leaving FL270 received TCASII RA for opposite direction traffic approaching at FL260. Responded to RA and queried ATC who gave additional turnout. Aircraft passed well off to our right. Returned to course and resumed descent to FL250 without further incident.

Title: CLRED TO DSND, AN ACR FOLLOWS A TCASII RA TO AVOID TFC APCHING FROM OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
Narrative: REQUESTED AND RECEIVED DSCNT FROM FL270 TO FL250. SHORTLY AFTER LEAVING FL270 RECEIVED TCASII RA FOR OPPOSITE DIRECTION TFC APCHING AT FL260. RESPONDED TO RA AND QUERIED ATC WHO GAVE ADDITIONAL TURNOUT. ACFT PASSED WELL OFF TO OUR R. RETURNED TO COURSE AND RESUMED DSCNT TO FL250 WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
