After about an hour and thirty minutes of flight ECAM alert for loss of green hydraulic system came on. First officer completed the ECAM actions and I communicated to dispatch through the ACARS. After consulting with dispatch the decision was made to divert. We requested the longest runway and had the trucks standing by. Landing was normal and after emergency crews checked the aircraft; the gear was pinned and a tug took us to the gate.
